ByronGraduated from Kildonan East Regional Secondary School in Winnipeg, Manitoba in 1984 with honours in Auto Body. He completed his Autobody Apprenticeship in 1987 and relocated to Calgary in 1989 when he obtained his Alberta Autobody ticket. Byron's personal interest in 60's muscle cars led him to start-up Alternative Restoration in 1992. Byron's specialty is his custom paint work. His attention to detail creates projects that are second to none. Byron's vast knowledge of 60's GM muscle cars comes from his own special interest in them and years of research in factory correct restorations.

Vince Zanella

Vince graduated from Holy Trinity Academy in Okotoks and holds a journeyman mechanic ticket obtained in 2001. He is pursuing a journeyman ticket as an Autobody Technician. He is currently in his 3rd year of apprenticeship with Alternative Restoration. Vince's area of expertise is vehicle preparation and detail as well as paint. Vince's personal car interests are exotics, he drives a 1981 Ferari 308 GTSi.

MattMatt is a truck/car enthusiast who works on a casual basis. He has proven to be a definite asset to the company as his work is meticulous and he is quick to pick up on the techniques of restoration. As his career of choice is pilot, Air Canada often takes him to other parts of the world. Matt’s personal interests are High Performance Chevy trucks and he is also an avid dirt biker.

Paul Huff

Paul’s background is primarily in the automotive industry. He holds a scaffolding ticket and is also a qualified safety officer. Paul’s special attention to detail and sense of humor has made him an asset to the shop environment. His special interests are muscle cars. Paul is an avid dog lover and currently provides a home for rescued dogs.
